The Teal Midstream team has a proven track record in developing, operating, and optimizing midstream assets. We leverage our expertise and industry relationships to commercialize, build, and manage infrastructure across the midstream and carbon capture & storage (CCS) value chain. Our vision is driven by a commitment to exceptional service, operational excellence, and a strong focus on safety and environmental responsibility. An experienced results-driven executive, Richard has a proven track record of creating value and delivering strong investor returns by identifying and executing business opportunities that address critical industry needs. As Co-Founder and CEO of Woodland Midstream, LLC, he led the company’s strategic growth, investment decisions, and operational execution, ensuring long-term success for stakeholders.
With deep expertise in business strategy and infrastructure development, Richard has successfully led key acquisitions and midstream projects across all three major Texas basins. His agile leadership, strategic decision-making, and analytical approach enable him to rigorously evaluate opportunities, align resources, and execute high-impact strategies that optimize operations and maximize stakeholder value.
A dedicated industry advocate, Richard has previously served on the board of directors for the Natural Gas Society of East Texas and the GPA Midstream Association, supporting industry advancement and policy initiatives.
Richard holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and is currently an MBA candidate at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.
